Founded in 1958, AIF - ATELIER DE L’ILE DE FRANCE is one of the pioneers in France for the design and the manufacturing of cutting tools at the service of industrial companies.

Created from the externalisation of the tooling workshops of the industrial companies in Ile de France (Paris and surrounding), AIF has developed its foot print to other territories and fields of know-how. Today with its own design department and the state-of-the-art CNC machines, AIF is capable of satisfying all sorts of demands and requirements of cutting tools, even the most improbable ones. In parallel, AIF also offers its backward engineering service to design and manufacture any mechanical parts from broken or damaged parts.

Located nearest to its clients in Ile de France, Toulouse and Cluses in the Arve Valley, AIF combines flexibility and agility of a French SME company with an historical know-how of the design and manufacturing of high end cutting tools.
